Silent letters are everywhere in English. That is why English pronunciation is very hard to learn.

"B" is silent when it is followed by "t" as in	لا ينطق الحرف B اذا اتى بعده حرف ال T مثل

If you see a word starting with " adj " you don't say the " d " sound as in	الكلمات التي تبدء ب adj حرف ال D دائما صامت ولا ينطق مثل

Silent "e" is the most important of all because the "e" is not only silent but also changes the other vowel's sound . in

حرف e الصامت يعتبر من أهم الاحرف الصامته وذلك لان الحرف e ليس صامت وحسب بل يتحكم في طريقة لفظ احرف العلة كما سنرى في الامثلة

The "a" "i" "o" "u" are short

The "a" "i" "o" "u" are Long

The "u" sound like the long "oo" sond

. English words don’t end in v or u. The e at the end of have and blue do not affect pronunciation. The e is there because the words would otherwise end in v or u. Impromptu is one of the few exceptions to this rule.

The letter "k" is always silent if it is followed by the letter "n" as in the words	حرف ال K دائما صامت اذا اتا بعده حرف ال N كما في الامثلة التاليه

If a word ends with "-alm"   the letter "l"  becomes a silent letter and "a" says the "ar" sound	حرف L صامت ولا ينطق في الكلمات التي تنتهي ب -alm مع ملاحظة ان حرف a يأخذ صوت ar كما في المثال التالي
